Viking Knit Gallery
I know I love looking at jewelry that others have made. Here are some photos of viking knit jewelry that I have made.
In most cases, if you click the photo you’ll see a larger version appear.
I hope you enjoy this gallery of viking knit chains. Come back from time to time, as I keep on adding to it!

what gauge copper wire do you use? your pieces are beautiful
Hi Debra,
I usually use 24 or 26 gauge wire, unless I am doing double-knit. For double (or triple) knit, I use 28 gauge. 🙂

i saw that you have a tutorial for sale. i’m just starting with beading, etc. are your instructions basic enough for a total beginner?
forgot to ask -half hard, full hard, dead soft?
Hi Debra,
My intro class for Viking knit is designed for someone who has never done it before, beader or not. 🙂 So you should be OK with it.
The wire I use is dead soft, unless I am making a clasp. If I’m making a clasp with 20 or 18 gauge, I use half-hard.
Gail 🙂
